my words

My birthday is on the 17th July – but please don’t feel obliged to say happy birthday. Let’s be honest, I’m loosing here. Getting older is not the sort of thing I want to be congratulated about! Of course the older we get, the more memories and special moments we have, and we do our level best to ensure we don’t forget them!

But, as Frank once said – That’s Life. There is nothing we can do to change it, we just get on with it.

My life, and my career thus far, have both been diverse and interesting. From life as a legal student, through a tough military spell with the Jordanian Army and onto a high points painter. I then became a life guard, where I saved the lives of over 67 people, then became a professional aircraft painter and have finished up as the owner of a company half a world away from my home land.

However, the one constant in my life has been my writing. I write to make my self clear. I write when I can’t say what I want to say. I write when I am alone. In my world, my pen is my best friend (although a new laptop is a close second!). I love my hand writing, I can feel my feelings between the lines. I know it is an old style but it is the best way to say exactly what you mean to say.

Friends will tell you, I can sometimes talk to much – but here on this website, I’ll let the written words of my films and books do the talking…!
